Finn is making the journey towards independence. He began crawling at the end of 6 months, and now pulls himself up onto anything and everything...he has begun to get adventuresome since he began to crawl, and is quite fast on his little hands and knees. He has begun the bear crawl, and will be no time before he is walking. He has been using his voice for awhile now, and will try to have a conversation with you, or at least in his world he is. He LOVES his dogs, and can't seem to get enough. Barron and Colt are very protective, they don't leave his side, little Tuff just does what the big dogs do, but Finn loves to watch them, tug on them, crawl over them, and pet them.
He has been eating food for a couple months now, and doesn't really seem to dislike anything yet. He doesn't have teeth yet, but the top front two seem to be swollen. However, we have been saying that since he was 4 months old. Babies can get away with gumming their food, and having it be 'cute'. Jeff and I have enjoyed every second, but it's very true what they say, every stage is fun and new. Here are a lot of pictures for you to enjoy. Happy New Year
Happy New Year! We can't believe that Finn turned 6 months old on the second. A friend once told me that after having children "they are the longest days and the shortest years" which seems very true. It is just amazing to me how fast they change, and how fun it is to watch him learn and experience life. Finn mastered steam rolling around 4 1/2 months, and now is sitting up and standing while holding onto someone or something. His laugh is the most precious sound, and he laughs quite a bit these days. His little smile will melt your heart, and he loves the ladies. Lucky for him the majority of my friends have little girls who all love him as well.
So far he seems to like numbers, Grandpa started counting to five with him a few weeks ago, and he loves it. He actually stares at his hand and moves his fingers like he is also counting. He also really loves his books, and also loves to eat them. He hasn't gotten any teeth yet, but his top gums are swollen and very soon I think his little teeth will come in. Mom isn't looking forward to that considering he is still breast feeding. Here are some pictures of him from xmas...he was very spoiled, of course.

Finn Update
It has been too long since I have shared the lastest of Finn with you. He is now 15 weeks old, extremely energetic and strong like bull. He insists on standing with assistance, and seems to think that belly time is for the birds. The pediatrician said at his 2 month appointment that he was very strong and she thought he would roll over by the time he was 3 months...sure enough at 11 weeks he rolled over. He wasn't sure what happened but thought it was fairly funny, and ever since he has been cracking himself up. It is most healing, precious laugh in the world that will make you almost shed a tear. He is a happy, healthy, growing boy and here are some pics to see over the last couple months.

Finn is 8 weeks old! It is amazing how much faster time goes by with a baby. There isn't a minute wasted in the day....here are some recent pics. He has started cooing and smiling...but mostly he moves all day long. He moves everything possible, his legs, arms, fingers, toes and tounge all at the same time, it is very comical.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
